I really enjoyed this animation with the children on the school bus. The effect of bullying can plainly be seen in the scenes depicting the children’s mimicking of their parent’s responses slandering an innocent man. This episode sends a strong message about the effect of bullying as well as why protecting the legacy of the dead should be important to all of us, whether you are famous or not. The ending of the animation is very poignant where the story is told about the girl’s father’s plaque being removed from display even before the start of his trial…this is so reminiscent of how I’m sure Michael Jackson felt when his name was hastily removed from the Gardner Street Elementary School Auditorium. Unfortunately, as this animation unmistakably shows, many folks forget that a deceased person often leaves behind children, parents and other loved ones who are hurt immensely by these kinds of nasty attacks on the deceased.
